Yes, I'm writing about black and purple again. Why not? As someone said to me last week, "You can never have too much of a good thing.". Actually, Ralph Lauren's new showroom design inspired this post. Ralph Lauren is now featuring their Brook Street Collection which includes this fabulous black leather tufted sofa vignette atop a velvet plush wool vivid purple rug. It's drop dead gorgeous and luxury, luxury, luxury. Actually, if I had it my way, I would choose Lee Jofa's all silk plush Tibetan rug in deep amethyst. One word comes to mind when I think of this color palette and look, Vixen.
