FRINGE Boutique Design Update

We are making progress with the design at FRINGE Boutique in Windham. We knocked down walls, ripped up the turquoise office carpeting and sanded and stained the concrete floors black. My favorite piece of the design has to be the grafitti style lettering in black sparkle. The "F" is in purple adorned with Swarovski crystals. Hats off to Susan Seifer the talented artist we are working with who has brought our designs to life. Still, there is much left to do...hang fabulous black silk tafetta drapery, install the mirrors,lighting,TV and shelving.

FRINGE will be opening later this month and will sell women and men's designer clothing, denim and accessories. Our client and owner of FRINGE, Kristen Gazda has such fantastic style that I can not wait to see her inventory collection. Kristen is truly passionate about her business and so warm and personable that I have no doubt that she will be a huge success.

Red Hot

I am probably the last person on earth that still has not seen any of the Twilight movies. Still, when I happened to see the Twilight New Moon fashion spread in Harper's Bazaar, I was instantly inspired. The color palette is fabulous..deep blood red paired with black, chocolate and moss green...textures of leather and velvet. This rich color palette evokes such a sophisticated old world atmosphere. With my latest inspiration in mind, I could not help but notice that almost every Fall 2010 fashion advertising campaign is featuring red. For interiors, I especially love dark deep blood red paired with chocolate and black..so rich and daring. Red is the color of love, war, passion and power.
